Job Description
Responsibilities:
Research government IT topics to create newsworthy, unique content that reflects, but is not limited to, the current market trends, challenges, emerging technologies and solutions
Interview and/or work one-on-one with client(s) to fully understand their messaging and translate it into compelling, client driven content
Develop independent content with strictly no client involvement
Use editorial skills and independent judgment to produce high-quality work that needs little or no editing
Accept quick turn around projects, still meeting the deadlines and maintaining quality of content
Handle and meet multiple deadlines
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in English, Communications, IT or related field
5+ years experience in a technical writer role involved in planning, writing, editing and compiling IT related content ranging from simple to highly complex
Understanding of the government IT field preferred
B-to-B or B-to-G experience preferred
Strong communication and organization skills
