Job Description

Thank you for your interest in the position. We’re currently hiring an illustration team to create realistic illustrations for a large Readers Project that we are currently undertaking. At the moment, we need illustrations for 10 readers, which amounts to about 250-400 illustrations, depending on the mix of illustrations-to-photos that we ultimately decide on. Our goal is to create 100 readers, which will require 2500-4000 illustrations, but at present, we’re creating 10 readers.

Job Title:
Freelance illustrator (realistic illustrations for science readers)

Writer will:
Create realistic drawings for our readers. The readers cover a variety of topics–sharks, crocodiles, comets, strange weather, etc.

Compensation:
• Illustrators will be paid for each illustration–we are currently taking per-illustration bids. Please let me know how much in US dollars you will charge for each illustration.
